All of our lifeguards hold current certifications
through the American Red Cross.
As our water is 4'6” at the deepest, we do not require deep water certification. Shallow water Lifeguard certification works as well.  Our guards are also trained in First Aid and CPR for the professional Rescuer.

We are working on scheduling classes. They will be $200 and open to both our guards and people wishing to guard for other pools.  There is a prerequisite swim requirement of 300 yards continuous swimming, 2 minutes treading water using only your legs, and a timed brick retrieval.  Shallow water has a reduced requirement of 100 yards (and shallow water for the brick retrieval).  We recommend trying this on your own before the class, as it is a partial refund for failing.
